Thank you church for your prayers and notes. We praise God for you. Praise the Lord with us that my first cycle of chemo treatments showed great progress toward eliminating cancer cells. My oncologist was even able to tweak treatments to hopefully provide more protection of my immune system. I began the second cycle of chemo yesterday with most of the pneumonia symptoms gone. God be praised! Please continue to pray for a quick return to strength following each treatment, strengthened back/alleviation from pain, protection from illness for both John and I, continued wisdom for my medical care team. The verse on my heart remains Psalm 73:28-

But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.
